I love to Build a Boat like this and to use it on bigger Lakes in Tamilnadu.

There are nearly 10 small Hills in the south subarban Chennai.
1. Thrisulam
2. Pallavaram
3. West Tambaram
4. Thiruneermalai
5.Vandalur
6. Chithalapakkam ( Medavakkam)
7. Ottiyambakkam
8. South of Mambakkam
and few more.

Most of all Hills are beautiful. The pathetic scenario is they are all half cut by the Granite dhadhas. Government is also allowed them to spoil the nature. Can we Recreate these beauties. God has created them for a reason.To create small streams, and to hold hearth surface from earth quacks etc. But Human raskals are spoiled them, One of a beautiful small hill is lost 70 percent of it is Ottiyambakkam hill. A beautiful Ottiyambakkam SHIVA temple is nearby.I visited this spot with my little son on June 10th, 2017. It was a Hot Saturday.A deep artificial gorge is filled with natural and rain water. Its formed by the destruction and cutting of the hill for granite.

Trip to Yercadu

When we started at 4.30 PM on 31st August the climate was very good at Chennai.We reached Vilupuram at 7.30 PM. We finished our dinner and stayed in the night at Hotel Archana.The food was good.My little son Arudhra enjoyed rolling around the big bed. The next day morning we finished the breakfast and started at 8.00 AM.The road was very good from Chennai to Ulundurpet.After Ulundurpet the road become narrow.Road construction is going on.ALso ther is no bypass road in Kallakurichi and Athur.The travel was boring.We could manage to reach Selam at 1.00 PM. I filled up the Diesel.There are two roads taking you to Yercad.One is the usual Selam- Yercad rout.Another one is a forest rout.After 6 Kilometers in the Harur highway there is a forest Check post at Kuppanur. Kuppanur- Yercadu Ghat road is 24 Kilometers.It was scenic and very beautiful.The climate was little hot. I donot feel the good chillness till I reach Yercadu like one feel while climbing Kodaikanal. For 10 about Kilometers the journey was smooth.The road was good.No cars or Vehicles were seen.We were all alone.The Most important moment of my trip was arrived. After a Hair Pin bend we spotted a wild Bison grazing on the road side.It was young and had colrful horn. I asked my son harsha to take photograph.It starred at us. I become afraid and continued driving the car.My son missed an opportunity to click the snap.I agree wild life photogtraphers are very brave enough to meet them eye to eye and do their profession.
2.30 PM we reached Yercad and stayed in shveroyes hotel. The muliticusin restaurant's food was costly but tasty.The room we stayed cost 1000 rupees, not so good.At 4.00 PM we started moving out for sight seeing.First spot was the 'Lady's seat' and 'Gentle man Seat or view point'.It was wonderful.We were standing amoung the clouds.For a long time the mist was passing around us.My little son got affected by cold.We spent some time and visited the Rose garden.We passed some tine over there and returned to the lake.Usually we take boat ride.As self rowing was not allowed we just enjoyed the lake view.Suddenly darkness fallen and black clouds started coming.By the time we returned to the room at 7.00 PM It was started raining.We enjoyed the dinner and MYSELF AND MY SON HAD ONE PECK OF RED WINE in First time in my life.After that I felt hot.
We had a sound sleep and the next day morning we went to 'Bagoda Point' 4 KM away from Yercad it was a nice spot.While returning we parked our car in the deep woods and gone for a walk.
Around 1.00 PM we returned to the room.We skipped visiting the 'Servarayan Temple" and "Mettur dam view point" 6 KM away from yercad.After lunch We vacated the room and started heading back to Chennai.We reached the Kuppanur checkpost at 3.30 PM and started taking the HARUR-Uthangarai- Thirupathur-Jolarpet-Ambur-Vellore-Kanchipuram-Tambaram Root.
Next to Kuppanur there was a beautiful Road called 'Manjavadi Kanavai'.It biffurcates the easternghat hills.
The most pleasent highway was the Harur-Uthangarai highway.The road was smooth and wonderful.We reached Thirupathur at 7.00 PM.I thought of staying in ' Yelagiri" that night.It was just 14 KM away from there.My wife preferred to go back to chennai to save my little son from cold.By 9.45 we reached Kanchipuram and had dinner at Saravana's.After that our journey become hell.Kanchipuram-Tambaram Road work is going on.We reached home at 12.00 PM.
